Casino Shopping
All Casinos have shops of some description even if they only sell alcohol, newspapers and their own branded merchandise. In this section I have only listed the Casinos that offer shopping which I believe are worthy of a visit in their own right. This is not to say that other Casinos do not have excellent shopping facilities but these are the only ones I would visit solely to go shopping.

Shops at Caesar's Palace
This is the first and probably still the best casino shopping mall adjoining
the casino, noticeable by the huge globe outside that is Planet Hollywood.
Like all of the other shopping malls the ceiling is painted to look like
clouds and it is hard to believe that you are inside. The mall includes
some great statutes including a copy of Michangelos David only a third
bigger !! There is a beautiful copy of the Tivoli fountain famous for
amongst other things the Sinatra film three coins in the fountain. There
are the magical statues, which come to life and with the aid of many special
effects and give shows throughout the day.
The shops here and there are about 160 shops covering all types and all
price ranges. This is probably the best thing about Ceaser's the shops
cater for everyone and the Ceaser's merchandise is good quality and priced
fairly. The shops include FA Schwarz the toyshop, various clothing for
all tastes, sports shops, toiletries, and a little section of extremely
high quality and appropriately priced goods including classic clothing,
pens, watches and leather goods. All in al this is a fun place with an
easygoing atmosphere and you feel very comfortable and relaxed even if
dressed in shorts and t-shirt.
The shops at Bellagio are unusual as to get to the Casino floor in most instances you have to walk past the top quality shops. Bellagio does not have any attractions to get you to the shopping arcade but it doesn't need it, Gucci, Hermes, Tiffany, Fendi, Prada and Rolex shout loudly enough on their own so as not to need anything else to bring in the crowds. There are not as many shops here as at other Casino malls but what is missing in numbers is more than made up in pure top class quality. There is no shop here that is anything other than expensive but depending on the exchange rate these shops can still represent a saving on London prices.The feel here is very upmarket and there is more than a good sprinkling of red-coated superior security guards you can feel a little uncomftable if you are wearing very casual holiday attire. If you hit a jackpot in Vegas this is the place to give some of it back.
Desert Passage
at the Aladdin
Again here is the clouded ceiling and has real full sized Moorish buildings
creating the appearance of a Moorish Bazaar selling amongst otter things
Mont Blanc! The theming here is the best in Vegas if not the World, with
security guards dressed in kakis and red berets and teams of Arab looking
acrobats performing this is real fun. The icing on the cake is a man made
thunderstorm with real rain every 15 minutes truly wonderful. The range
of shops here is similar though not quite as extensive as Ceasar's, there
are the family favourites such as the Discovery Store, the Teddy Bear
Store and a great tacky Vegas gift shop going up to Mont Blanc, Victoria's
Secret, Aveda and Clinique. Shopping here is relaxed with plenty of entertainment,
good parking, good fair priced shops and plenty of places to rest those
tired feet.
The canal shops at the Venetian like every other part of this resort pure class with lovely satutes, marble floors and the "oh so Vegas" cloud painted ceiling. This shopping area is themed to be Venice of course complete with the canal running down the middle. Where else could you buy your postcards whilst watching a gondola go past and the gondolier serenading the passengers ok Venice but other than that? The shops here are up market and expensive many selling items that are of Italian origin like fine glass ware, paintings and statues along with the normal wares of clothes, gifts and lovely toiletries.
